TNDR represents all PhD students at the Faculty of Science and Technology at Uppsala University. The aim of TNDR is to monitor and pursue any issues regarding the rights and concerns of the PhD students of the faculty.
All departments of the faculty have elected representatives to TNDR (“the council” and “TNDR” are used interchangeably), and the board of the council is elected at an annual meeting. Meetings are held a few times each semester, and all PhD students at the faculty have the right to attend, right to proposition and right of speech at all TNDR meetings.
Moreover, the council organizes the PhD student representatives to the university-level and faculty-level boards and committees, which are the decision-making bodies at the university. TNDR also cooperates with the PhD student board of the student union on PhD student concerns that are not specific to the faculty.
